George Looking to Peak - and Pitch - in the Poconos

georgecandidpbir2010.jpg(LONG POND, Pa. - July 29, 2010) - Following one week off, the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards will return to action at Pocono Raceway in Saturday's Weis Markets 125. Tim George Jr., driver of the No. 31 Richard Childress Racing Development Chevrolet, will look to improve on his career-best Pocono finish from June - but not before turning his focus to another sport altogether.

New Jersey Motorsports Park Hosting Blood Drive

redcross2.jpg(MILLVILLE, N.J. - July 29, 2010) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards races at New Jersey Motorsports Park on August 14 and 15, but race fans can take to the track a week early for a worthy cause.

Championship Contender Craig Goess Headed Back to Pocono, Site of First Series Triumph
goesscandidmans10.jpg(LONG POND, Pa. - July 28, 2010) - If anyone doubted Craig Goess's championship possibilities at the onset of the 2010 season, it's fairly safe to say that the naysayers have been all but silenced. Coming into the late-season homestretch, Goess, driver of the No. 81 Greenville Toyota of NC Toyota for Eddie Sharp Racing, is a man on a mission. Outside of a DNF at Toledo in May, Goess has not finished worse than sixth in his last six outings. Save the sixth place finish at Michigan, a race he nearly won, he's not finished out of the top-five. And, oh yah, he's also second in championship points headed to Pocono Raceway for this Saturday's Weis Markets 125, the same track he earned his career-first victory back in early June.
In Prep for Pocono, Coulter Heads Back to the Ballpark; Busy 10-Race Stretch on the Way
coulterpitch.jpg(HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - July 28, 2010) - Second year ARCA Series racer Joey Coulter is set to kick off two straight months of racing with this weekend's Weis Markets 125 at Pocono Raceway. The Miami Springs, Fla. native isn't daunted by such a feat, but rather excited at the opportunity to showcase his talent at some of the most diversified tracks on the circuit.
Donny Lia Among Double Duty Entrants at Pocono

liaheadshot.jpg(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 27, 2010) - Donny Lia, once a winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, will drive the No. 55 Toyota for Venturini Motorsports in Saturday's Weis Markets 125, the 11th race of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season. Lia, along with Chad McCumbee and Chase Mattioli, will perform double duty on Saturday at Pocono Raceway, as all three are entered in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race as well as the Weis Markets 125.
