(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 29, 2010) - NASCAR Sprint Cup star Kyle Busch will go beyond the call of autographs and visiting with fans Friday, August 13 when he makes an appearance at Toledo Speedway. Busch has also agreed to take 150 lucky race fans around Toledo's half-mile paved oval for a ride in a school bus!

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 28, 2010) - Entries continue to arrive for the Saturday, July 31 Butch Giles Memorial 100, the ARCA Allegiant Air Late Model Gold Cup Series finale to be held at Flat Rock Speedway. The event will decide the 2010 Gold Cup champion from the series of five events between Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways. The race has been named in honor of Butch Giles, a long-time sponsor and car owner at both tracks. Giles passed away prior to the start of the 2010 season. 

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 26, 2010) - DeWitt, Mich. driver Chad Finley will make the trip to Flat Rock Speedway for the fifth and final leg of the ARCA Allegiant Air Late Model Gold Cup Series on Saturday, July 31. The Butch Giles Memorial 100 will decide the 2010 Gold Cup champion from the series of five events between Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways. The race has been named in honor of Butch Giles, a long-time sponsor and car owner at both tracks. Giles passed away just prior to the start of the 2010 season. 

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 24, 2010) - Driving the Giles Auto Body No. 88, Ron Allen tuned up for next weekend's Butch Giles Memorial 100 with his win in the 50-lap ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model feature on All Sport Night at Flat Rock Speedway. Dan Ford Jr., Steve Chartrand, Greg Studt, and Levi Rouster all picked up feature wins. The track staff worked right up until practice to get rid of the water from Friday night's heavy storms, and just as the program ended, the rain returned Saturday evening.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 23, 2010) - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan will visit with race fans and sign autographs Saturday, August 14 at Flat Rock Speedway. Stoney Creek Auto Parts will serve as sponsor for the night of stock car racing on the quarter-mile paved oval and Figure 8 track. 

(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 21, 2010) - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Kyle Busch will visit Toledo Speedway on Friday, August 13 to sign autographs and meet fans. Busch was previously scheduled to race in the CRA Late Model 100-lap event at the Glass City oval, but those plans have changed due to obligations with his Sprint Cup team.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 17, 2010) - Tim Moore came back after crashing last week and scored the big win in the Leppen Chiropractic 100 for the ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. James Rae captured the B Main and Greg Studt notched the Figure 8 win on Christmas in July Night, which featured Santa Claus and dozens of prizes that were given away to race fans. Dr. Cecilia Leppen and her children presented the trophies to the winners.

TOLEDO, OH  (7-16-2010):  Santa Claus greeted race fans for the Lakeshore Utility Trailer/Velvet Ice Cream Christmas in July prize giveaway Friday night at Toledo Speedway.  Cory McCaughey was the winner of the ARCA Factory Stock special event, while Jim Froling, Dennis Whisman and Perry Marlow were also feature winners that visited the Sunny D Winner’s Circle.  Neal Ray and Donna Young from Velvet Ice Cream presented the trophies, while Santa Claus handed out dozens of prizes to the race fans.

Effective immediately, Holley carburetor part #080541-1 and Holley carburetor part #080541-2 are the only ARCA-approved carburetors used with the crate engines in the ARCA Sportsman series.  

(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 15, 2010) - For the second straight week, the Thursday night Placers Car Club Classic Car Show at Toledo Speedway has been cancelled due to the extreme heat and the forecast for storms later in the day.

The car show will resume next Thursday, July 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A band will provide music during the show.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 14, 2010) - Prize donations and lap money are still being taken for the Saturday, July 17 Christmas in July prize giveaway at Flat Rock Speedway. Donors will have their name placed on the souvenir program stuffer sheet and donations also include public address mentions.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 10, 2010) - Mother Nature finally relented on the extreme heat and granted fans and teams great conditions for the Budweiser Triple 50s and Fireworks show at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday night. Paul Pelletier, Jeremy Vanderhoof, and Scott Selmi grabbed the 50-lap feature wins, while Steve Chartrand took the 20-lap Street Stock B Main honors in front an enthusiastic crowd. Each driver received a trophy, Budweiser mirror, and cap, courtesy of Floral City Beverage/Budweiser. The evening concluded with the traditional fireworks display.
